From household items to fashion and footwear, electronics, pet products, and so much more, Amazon is a staple in many of our regular shopping routines, and for good reason. Not only is shopping online easy and convenient, but delivery is quick too.

We spoke to several cleaning experts to find out which products they regularly shop on Amazon.

The Pink Stuff, Miracle Purpose Cleaner

“One of my favorite cleaning products is also one of my favorite to buy on Amazon—I’m talking about The Pink Stuff, Miracle Purpose Cleaner,” says Jessica Samson, cleaning expert at The Maids.

This multi-purpose cleaner recently went viral on TikTok and has been dubbed the miracle paste for its ability to clean everything from grease-covered ovens to stained ceramic sinks. Samson says it’s usually cheaper to buy The Pink Stuff on Amazon versus your local store, and you’re guaranteed to get the paste version when you order online (versus the liquid version, which, in Samson’s opinion, isn't quite as effective).

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes

Clorox disinfecting wipes are another great Amazon buy, according to Karina Toner, Operations Manager at Spekless Cleaning. They can kill up to 99.9% of germs which makes these wipes ideal for quickly and conveniently sanitizing all kinds of surfaces in the home. While Clorox disinfecting wipes can probably be found at your local store, Amazon carries a much wider variety and offers bulk options which is convenient if you tend to go through them quickly, Toner says.

Method All-Purpose Cleaner

If you’re looking for an eco-friendly, non-toxic all-purpose cleaner, Method is the way to go. Method’s products have become increasingly popular over the last several years and are available in most stores. However, Toner says that the selection and competitive pricing on Amazon can’t be beat. The all-purpose cleaner can be purchased in several different pleasant scents and is ideal for cleaning things like kitchen counters, tables, and other surfaces.

Windex Original Blue Glass and Window Cleaner

Another household name, most people are probably familiar with Windex’s Original Blue Glass and Window Cleaner.

“While Windex is widely available, Amazon’s convenience and swift delivery make it a preferred option, especially for bulk purchases,” Toner says. On top of that, she says that Amazon regularly offers deals and discounts on Windex products, which helps them save money in the long run. 

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

It’s called the magic eraser for a reason. No cleaning cupboard is truly complete without a set of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, and it’s another great Amazon purchase according to Toner. On Amazon, you can find convenient bulk options and the variety is much wider than in stores. Plus, Amazon frequently offers deals and discounts on Mr. Clean products. 

Scrub Daddy Sponges

Scrub Daddy sponges are another internet favorite, and for good reason. Not only are these smiling sponges completely adorable, but they're super functional too. Their smiling faces can help you clean silverware, get into the corner of dishes, and scrub tough stains. Plus they change texture based on the temperature of the water—hard and rigid in cold water and soft and pliable in warm water. 

“I heart these sponges. They really work, are long-lasting, and don’t hold odor like other sponges,” says Wendy Trunz, Partner at Jane’s Organization Addiction. While the brand has skyrocketed in popularity, these sponges aren’t always available in stores. For that reason, Amazon is a great, reliable choice.

Swiffer Sweeper Dry Mop Refills

Nathaly Vieira, owner of InspireClean, says that Swiffer Sweeper Dry Mop Refills are one of the most important cleaning products that she always purchases from Amazon.

“The refills are very affordable and the pads can be reused multiple times, making [them] a great value-for-money product,” she says. Paired with a regular Swiffer Sweeper, these dry sweeping cloths help to pick up dirt, dust, and other particles from hardwood, laminate, and even carpet.

“Sometimes these refills are really difficult to get in stores, so Amazon is a great place to get them,” Vieira says.

Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner

Take a look in any cleaning cupboard and you’ll probably find a bottle of Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner. It’s a tried-and-true cleaning product favored among professionals and homeowners alike, and it’s a great product to buy on Amazon. Since toilet bowl cleaner gets used on a regular basis, it’s a great option for Subscribe & Save, and Amazon regularly offers deals and discounts on Lysol products as well. Plus, you’ll find a much wider range of scents available on Amazon than you will in-store, Toner says.

Pine-Sol All-Purpose Cleaner

Who doesn’t love the fresh and woodsy scent of Pine-Sol? It’s a classic all-purpose cleaner that can be used for cleaning and disinfecting floors, surfaces, and so much more around the home. Toner says it’s another staple in her Amazon shopping cart.

“While Pine-Sol is widely available in stores, Amazon’s convenient online shopping and quick delivery save us time and transportation costs,” she says. 

Clorox Scentiva Disinfecting Wet Mod Pad

Another great Clorox product worth purchasing from Amazon is the Clorox Scentiva Disinfecting Wet Mod Pad. In fact, Vieira lists it as her personal favorite cleaning product to shop from Amazon. 

“These pads are durable, reusable, and come pre-treated with Clorox cleaning solution so you don’t have to worry about mixing your own," Vieira says.

These pads attach to a sweeper head and then can be used like a regular mop across hard floors like hardwood or laminate. They’re available in numerous different fresh scents and just like other Clorox products can kill up to 99.9% of viruses and bacteria.
