If you need a fall refresh but aren't quite sure where to look, your favorite clothing brand might just have the answer.

Banana Republic, the clothing and accessory retailer that's a staple of both mall shopping centers and urban high fashion districts, announced the launch of their first-ever home decor and furniture collection on September 6—just in time for fall refreshing and redecorating.

BR Home features everything you need to furnish a space: furniture pieces, lighting, and home decor for the bedroom, living room, and dining room, according to a press release.
Rounding out the rest of the collection are other lighting options like floor lamps and chandeliers, alongside Moroccan rugs, and other decorative accents.

This new venture for the clothing retailer is here to dress up your space, literally and figuratively.

“At Banana Republic, we are driven by a desire for discovery and self-expression, representing a new way to outfit yourself and your home,” said Sandra Stangl, Banana Republic President and CEO, in the press release. “We are committed to bringing exceptional quality, timeless design, and versatile styling to our customers as we determine how to best support their lifestyle.”

For the bedroom, pieces range from large-scale furniture items like bed frames, as well as smaller items like sheet sets. If it's your living room that needs an update, plush upholstered sofas, cozy accent chairs, and sturdy coffee tables are sure to tempt you. And in the dining room, tables, chairs, and pendant lights will make a big statement.

The BR Home collection follows the brand's previous, albeit subtler, foray into the home space. Earlier this year, they softly launched a textile collection prior to their big debut of homewares. But, like that line, the range of home products will also maintain Banana Republic's focus on high-quality materials and craftsmanship.

The items in the collection are also made of sustainably sourced hardwoods, European oak, teak and mahogany, natural wool, and hand-rolled clay.

The press release noted that the first products in the new collection will have five focus on three main design aesthetics: textured modern, classic chic, and explore.

In truth, it's a neutral decor-lover's dream, with plenty of creams and whites, as well as other earthy tones and textures like burnt terracotta, woven materials, and pops of metallics.

"Whether traditional global handicraft, American heritage production, or small companies working in this era of maker culture, product craftsmanship is a Banana Republic legacy," said Aaron Rose, Chief Commerce and Experience Officer for Banana Republic.

“This dynamic collection celebrates the beauty of high-quality natural materials and skilled artisans, creatives, and those designers whose work reflects our brand values and allows us to support craftsmanship communities around the world," Rose said.
