Experience

Julia has already prided herself on being a great gift giver (and often got offended when people in her life weren't the same). She's spent the last 3 years of her career frantically researching the best toys, home decor, beauty products, or virtual gifts anyone would be happy to receive, from a toddler to a grandparent. Years before these, she often began prepping gift ideas for her friends and family months before special occasions to ensure the best reaction possible.

At The Spruce, she's also learned a great deal about testing products (she recently tested this Casper cooling pillow and these space-saving hangers) in the home space. Living in small NYC dorms and apartments for over five years, she has learned how to make a small space feel bigger with a lot of help from products she has tested as a product reviewer.

In her downtime, Julia loves to read realistic fiction, try new coffee spots, and scroll through TikTok.
