Lily Sperry is a lifestyle writer and commerce editor for The Spruce. She has been with Dotdash Meredith since November 2019, when she started out as a producer for the team. Her writing career spans more than 5 years, with experience covering fashion, art, music, and lifestyle topics for a variety of print and digital publications.

Experience

Growing up with a mother who worked in real estate and interior design, Lily has seen her fair share of homes, from cramped apartments to suburban mini-mansions. With time and experience, she's come to learn what works—and, perhaps more crucially, what doesn't—in terms of decor, organizing, and more. Her current role combines this expertise with a life-long love for storytelling, honed throughout the five years that she's worked in media and publishing.

In her free time, Lily loves scouring eBay and Craigslist for the best vintage finds. She's also constantly testing home products in her Brooklyn apartment, from Brooklinen Bath Towels to these Silk Pillowcases from Silk & Snow.

Education

Lily received a B.A. in English Literature and American Studies from Wesleyan University. She also completed a five-week residential intensive at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
