As a shopping writer at The Spruce, she covers home sales and trends on all tested and approved products. Some of her favorite categories to cover include sustainable bedding, viral cleaning products and gadgets, and all kinds of vacuum cleaners (stick, upright, robot—all of the above). She has tested all kinds of products, including stick vacuums, robot vacuum/mop combo cleaners, bedding, and more.

She only writes about products that make the cut in her own home—kitchen, pantry, linen closet, and beyond. Steph is on a never-ending journey to better organize her home, so labels are her saving grace. Some of her current brand favorites include Tineco, Molekule, and she’s kind of a brand snob for all things Cozy Earth.

Steph is constantly testing the best robot vacuums to pick up all the pet hair from her pomsky—that’s half husky, half Pomeranian—and so far, the Tineco A11 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum is the winner (although her Yeedi Mop Station Pro auto-starts every weekday at 3pm for daily fur maintenance). She lives in New York with said pomsky, Koda, who basically never stops shedding.
